Safe Communities & the Fentanyl Crisis
The tsunami of fentanyl on the streets is killing hundreds of Idahoans. Greg has been a longtime leader in the fight against fentanyl. As Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney, Greg will use every tool available to him to combat the threat of fentanyl, including enforcing the new tough-sentencing law adopted by the legislature (a law Greg strongly supports). Keeping our communities safe is a passion for Greg because he’s part of the Canyon County community. Greg grew up here and is raising his family here: he won’t enforce the law halfway. His family and yours depend on it.
Experience
As a four term legislator, Greg helped write the law and as the owner of a successful law practice he has helped implement it. Greg has witnessed the law from many different angles and has managed a team of attorneys in his firm. He will bring the fresh perspective of an aggressive litigator to the Canyon County Prosecuting Attorneys office.
Accountability
Accountability is the cornerstone of criminal justice. It is impossible to modify criminal behavior without sufficient accountability. Greg will hold lawbreakers accountable and insist on a prosecuting attorney’s office that models the accountability it expects of others.

ABOUT GREG
Greg grew up in rural Canyon County, Idaho, where his family raised beef steers, replacement dairy heifers, and sheep. His father worked for a local dairyman as a farm manager. In high school, when Greg wasn’t working at home or engaged in a 4-H or FFA project, he was earning money building fences, irrigating, or milking cows on area farms.
Greg graduated from Kuna High School and has a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Boise State University. Greg completed his Juris Doctor degree at Concordia University School of Law in Boise.
Greg served for eight years in the Idaho State Legislature and was a member of the Revenue and Taxation Committee and, for three years, the chairman of the Judiciary, Rules, and Administration Committee.
